I enjoy experimenting with various mediums to produce colourful abstract work. The element of play is important in my practice which can bring about surprising and interesting results which often reflect the forces of nature.

 

By contrast to the abstract work I find the human figure fascinating and I am a member of Surrey Figurative Artists with whom I enjoy drawing and painting from life. Charcoal is my favourite drawing medium as it can so easily be moved around t he paper.
