This series explores the tension between fragility and permanence through the use of watercolour, gold leaf, and rust. Watercolour captures the ephemeral emotional atmospheres, and delicate transitions. Rust introduces the element of decay, recording the passage of time. The gold leaf acts as a contrast to that decay suggesting resilience and transformation. Together, these materials create a narrative where beauty emerges in impermanence
